Our Team

Erin E. Mortenson, Esq.

 

Erin is a mom of two. Her children came to work with her since a young age. Family is her top priority, and now that her children are in school, she is excited to have even more time to help her clients.

Since 2013, Erin has dedicated her entire law practice to helping her clients’ plan for the future, while utilizing various legal methods to protect her clients’ hard-earned life savings from the expenses of long-term care costs. She is on the Board of Directors for the Michigan National Academy of Elder Law ("NAELA"), a member of Elder Counsel, a committee chair member of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section ("ELDRS") for the State Bar of Michigan. 

 

On a personal note, Erin is an avid traveler, enjoys cooking and entertaining as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Ashley S. Dickey, Esq.

Ashley is a mom to three young boys. She spent the first 10 years of her legal career at a national law firm litigating personal injury and general liability cases. She is recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2018-Present) and was named a Top Woman Attorney by Hour Detroit (2020). She is an active member of the Oakland County Bar Association and Women's Bar Association-Oakland Region ("WLAM").

 

Following an exciting and busy litigation career, she decided to dedicate more time to her family, and pursue a career focused on helping clients with protecting what matters most - family.

 

On a personal note, she loves to play golf, pickleball, travel, decorate her home, and cook, and of course spend time with her young family. Erin and Ashley are also avid readers and are in a neighborhood book club together.

Beth Schumacher, Paralegal

Beth has been a paralegal for over 38 years, and with Erin since the inception of her law practice in 2013. She prides herself on assisting clients to achieve their goals. Beth, with attorney supervision, works directly with clients in the areas of probate, estate administration, estate planning and Medicaid planning. Beth has been married to her husband, Steve for 38 years and has two grown children.

On a personal note, she enjoys golfing, watching movies and television shows with her husband, and being with her family. She especially loves spending time with her grandson, Cole.
